2 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2
The world is upside down right now and there are a lot of bad things going on in the world fortunately there are a lot of good people too. We Christians know that we should give thanks for all that God has given us whether we realize it or not we are just to be thankful. For those who have not been here before I do something I call a “scripture bomb” where I copy and paste two or more scriptures to make a point.
7 rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. Colossians 2:7
13 And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name. 1 Chronicles 29:13
4 Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. Ephesians 5:4
20 giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Ephesians 5:20
17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! Psalm 100:4
18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
We Christians are to give thanks for all of God’s blessings for that we have seen and for those that we have not seen. So today’s blog is simple give thanks and be grateful.
