2 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2
Paul always started his letters with something similar to the above scripture always blessing those he his writing to. I agree with Paul in that all of us need God’s blessings and that God blesses everyone whether we realize it or not but then I came across the scripture below.
17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17
The above scripture is simple enough to understand. We should start our day seeking Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior in all the things we do we do in His name (And whatever you do). For example I did a little prayer asking Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to bless me and my writing of this blog in His name (, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus). Being thankful is part of the Christian life although we can be a little forgetful and not give thanks for the things we did receive whether we realize it or not we should be always be thankful (giving thanks to God the Father through him.). If you have never been here before I do something that I call a scripture bomb where I cite two or more scriptures to drive a point home.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33
13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
4 Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually! Psalm 105:4
31 Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you. Luke 12:31
10 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Luke 11:10
In the first scripture “But seek first the kingdom of God” means to prioritize things in your life. Christians are asked to place God first in their lives in all things that they do such things as going to church, bible studies, reading the Bible, and prayer to have a close relationship with God through converse, to pray always, and to confess.
People will always have an opinion sometimes like our own and many times different from ours. People will put hope in other people which will typically leads to disappointment. As Christians we need to put our hope into Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we may not always get what we ask for but Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior will give us what we need. Do everything in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Let Him guide us in our daily lives.
4 Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually! Psalm 105:4
Remember:
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV
God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21
