Consider This…

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2

I have been blogging about hope and joy the goodness and love of being a Christian. Recently I was reminded that some Christians endure great tribulation.  Below is the Merriam Webster dictionary definition.

tribulation

noun

distress or suffering resulting from oppression or persecution

also a trying experience

A little over a year ago my girlfriend’s son committed suicide it was a very difficult time for her. A time progressed she seemed to be well enough but six months ago she became restless at night and when she did sleep she slept anywhere from 12 to 18 a day. She was constantly hiding behind her cell phone playing games and/or surfing Tik-Tok, face book, and instagram. Her daily social interactions were minimal at best. On three occasions I addressed the behaviors that I have seen and the changes in her behavior that have occurred but it fell on deaf ears. So I resorted to prayer.

12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12:12

In the above scripture the Christian is reminded to have hope. In this case hope that the tribulation will end and that we will endure the tribulation. When we endure we will develop the endurance to withstand the tribulations of the world and in that endurance we should pray always.

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

Here is a good reason to pray through difficult times because Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior will always be with us and He will never leave us or forsake us. In short, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is always with us no matter what.

If non believers have tribulations they will struggle with great frustration and stress. Christians can endure any tribulations as long as we have hope and prayer because Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is always with us. If you the non believer are going through difficult times pray the prayer below and have repent your sins accept Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and ask for help.

A Prayer to become a Christian

“Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I want to turn from my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life. I want Him to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”

Remember:

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21
