Consider This…

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2

I have written about joy, tribulation, faith, and hope now it’s time for love.

13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

There are many people that do not believe in God merely because they cannot see or touch God.  To those people that believe that I would ask, “How can you love then?”

Many literature’s about love say it’s an emotion a feeling an affection towards another person. Everyone can describe love everyone can express love but no one can show what love actually looks like. Is love round or square is it rough or smooth what color is love show me what love looks like. We have many expressions of love we can feel love but we cannot see it or touch it. Hmmm sounds like what atheists and agnostics say about the Christian faith. Follow me closely now

then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. Genesis 2:7

And

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27

Then there’s this

19 We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19

So God created man and He created man in His own image and in that creation there is love because God loved us first so we can love others just as God loves us. Then there is this…

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8

The above scripture is pretty self explanatory it means if you cannot love it’s because you do not know God. The scripture below tells us what happens when we do love.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

I often get scriptures from a website called Bible Gateway and when I did it today the scripture below was its daily scripture of the day.

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. 1John 4:11-12

Everyone has the ability to love. Love is not inherited or learned it’s not genetic it comes from God. So the next time you tell someone you love them it’s because God gave you that ability that gift.

Remember:

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV

God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21

14 Let all that you do be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14
