Recently I was reminded of the Great Commission see scripture below.
Matthew 28:16-20
The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
The above scripture is simple to understand Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, means go to all the nations and countries and tell the people that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior repent your sins and accept Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. The Christian will learn all the commandment, decrees, and regulation taught by Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior will be with you now and always, surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Simply put we people of the Christian faith are to learn all the commandments decrees and regulation taught by Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior by reading the bible and in return to teach to others and spread the “Good News” that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and to repent our sins and accept Christ is your Lord and Savior and carry out all the decrees, regulations, and commandments as set forth in the Holy Bible. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior will always be with us now and forever.
The Great Commission appears in the bible a 4 more times in Mark 16:15-18; Luke 24:44-49: John 20:19-23 and Act18.
This is the goal of the Christian Gaming Community that as Christians we will spread the “Good News” that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and He can save you.
Below is a prayer to start your life as a Christian.
Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself only. I am sorry and repent all my sins. I ask that you forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me to save me. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life; I give you my life to you. From this day forward help me to live every day for you and in a way that pleases you. I love you Lord and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you. Amen
