Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2Thessalonians 2
Being a Christian is not hard but for some people but it does come with the tasks of breaking old habits. Just when we think we have conquered those habits people around us are doing the same things that we have just stopped doing. Today’s topic is the subject of name calling, anger and hate. Many television stations have followed our presidential candidates as they ventured on their campaign trails. Both are guilty of name calling as the mudslinging was very fierce this election year. As Christians we are not to stoop to such low levels of character has it holds very little integrity. Speaking of truth our Heavenly Father God Almighty, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit and Spreading the Good News that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and can save us and give us eternal life is goodness. Below is a link to a webpage full of scripture about the name calling.

People have developed a hatred for other people this is due largely in part to the evil one or satan. Anti semantics has found resurgence in our present day society of the likes not seen since World War II when the Nazi regime began their ant semantic efforts by collecting and killing of the Jewish people. Hate is never a good emotion love on the other hand is full of goodness kindness and compassion. Attributes the people of our modern day society consider to be good no killing is involved in love. Below is a scripture of wisdom in regards to this matter.
1 John 4:20
20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.
Often anger goes hand in hand with hate. Anger takes away our abilities to reach out with kindness, compassion and love. We are not better people because of our anger. Granted there are occasions when we become angry because people or situations occur that makes us angry which is no different for the Christian but as a Christian our Heavenly Father God Almighty ask us to not be angry for very long and to listen attentively. See scriptures below.
Proverbs 14:29
29 Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.
James 1:19-20
19 Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; 20 for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
As Christians we are to be encouraging of all people build each other up in esteem, spirit, strength, wisdom and confidence but also for our Christian brothers and sisters as well.
11 So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. 1Thessalonians 5:11

I believe that you died on the cross for me to save me. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life; I give you my life to you. From this day forward help me to live every day for you and in a way that pleases you. I love you Lord and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you. Amen
