Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2Thessalonians 2
Many Christians are thankful because they know that God will bless them with so many things. Some blessings are obvious while others are not realized until much later. Sometimes we Christians give thanks just because of the love Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior gives us. Secular people do not understand how Christian people are happy to be loved in this manner. Below is some scripture that will hopefully explain this.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;[a] 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 Chronicles 16:34
34 Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;for his steadfast love endures forever!
1 John 4:7
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
Psalm 106:1
106 Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!
Here is something I have to realize as a Christian. God loves everyone even those that do not believe in him. We should be thankful of His love for us and the blessings he bestows upon us whether we not it or not God will loves us and bless us. It would help if we have a closer walk with God by repenting our sins and accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and be thankful for all the blessings that God has given us.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Ephesians 5:20
20 giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
To be a Christian means doing the good things to love, show kindness, be compassionate, to be humbled, to be wise, to care for your family, friends and strangers. Below is a prayer to start your Christian journey.
Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself only. I am sorry and repent all my sins. I ask that you forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me to save me. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life; I give you my life to you. From this day forward help me to live every day for you and in a way that pleases you. I love you Lord and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you. Amen
Remember:
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
God bless all those that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy and wisdom in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21
