Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2Thessalonians 2
I live in the United States, and in this country, there is much anger and hate, people who want to kill other people for no reason. Even some of our political leaders have chosen anger and hate as tools to express themselves and to win votes. Greed and name-calling are the new leadership. These are the days described in the book of Timothy, as written by Paul, described in the scripture below.
3 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. 6 For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, 7 always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. 2 Timothy 3:1-8
In the above scripture, it becomes clear that people have forsaken God Almighty’s wisdom, commandments, decrees, and regulations to follow their own desires. Below is a list of items I created from the scripture above.

Avoid such people
Paul actually tells Timothy and all the Christians to avoid such people…such wisdom.
When I sit down to watch the news on TV, I see all the things Paul has described happening in our world right now, and, to be honest, it worries me. Satan is continuously trying to pull people away from God by the use of fake news and propaganda, to use present-day terms. Lies, deceit, anger, hatred, and the calling for genocide are the tools of those who side with satan. Yes, I used the little “s” because I do not want to give the evil one too much credit. I believe God is stronger than satan and we can overcome satan with God.
19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. 1 John 5:19
God is love and wisdom and so many good things. There is no evil or darkness in our Heavenly Father God Almighty, only light and love.
5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5
Many people would not believe that our Heavenly Father, God Almighty, is good or exists. Many believe the bible is a hoax. To those people, I will address these issues in next week‘s blog. For now…
Below is a prayer to start your life as a Christian.
Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself only. I am sorry and repent all my sins. I ask that you forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me to save me. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life; I give you my life. From this day forward, help me to live every day for you and in a way that pleases you. I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you. Amen
Remember:
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
God bless all those who read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21
