2 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2
The world has become a crazy place filled with mass shootings and war. Other parts of the world are suffering terrorist’s bombings and attack from angry neighboring countries. Evil has a grip on our world.
If anyone has the read the bible, some may remember this scripture from the second book of Timothy.
3 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. 6 For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, 7 always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. 9 But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men. 2 Timothy 3:1-9
I as well as so many other Christians look at the world today and see so much evil. We see the evil things that Paul wrote about to Timothy in the above scripture.
I am had just finished the second book of Thessalonians which is only three chapters short. I came across this scripture in my daily readings so today’s blog is Holy Spirit inspired.
9 This man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles. 10 He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10
God gives everyone a chance to be saved from evil, accept the truth that would save them, all you have to do is repent your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and acknowledge that he died for all our sins. Was dead and buried, on the third day rose from the grave to conquer death sits at the right hand side of our Heavenly Father God Almighty, and given full authority over all things…and that is the truth that will save you.
