2 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2
I was sitting at me desk wondering what I should blog about for this week’s blog and as I was staring off into the distance I caught myself staring at a small book titled “Keep Calm and Trust God”. It is a small book written by Jake Provance and Keith Provance and is a great book about wisdom and insight to numerous situations and finishes with prayers for these situations. The title is what captured my attention today as I thought “Do I have enough faith?” Below is a good example of the Christian faith.
27 But he said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” Luke 18:27
The above scripture tells me that what is impossible with man is possible with God. Let me just add that our Heavenly Father God Almighty created the heavens and the earth and is indeed powerful. Then there is this scripture below.
7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7
If you are a Christian and follow God’s entire commandments, decrees and regulations love Him with all your heart and soul then it will be done for you. But wait there is more.
11 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen Hebrews 11:1
The key ingredient here is faith. That we believe that God does exist and does answer prayers which means you have to believe in the Christian faith to believe in our Heavenly Father God Almighty and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit. Even though you cannot see them or touch them the Holy Trinity does exist.
17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Romans 10:17
So the best place to learn about our Heavenly Father God Almighty Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit is at church and from the bible these are the things that help a person grow in faith. I do have faith but I would like to grow in the Christian faith even more so.
Remember:
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21
