Consider This…Again

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2

I find myself revisiting this topic once again mostly because…it’s happening again. I am a great believer that our Heavenly Father God Almighty guides our steps in life so that we may do the things that He wants us to do as His humble servants.

The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps. Proverbs 16:9

So I had plans to be on the road traveling to Texas to my girlfriend when just a week before my departure my cardiologist says I need a procedure to correct an arrhythmia within my heart before it damages my heart. I sat there silently crying on the inside since this derailed my departure plans completely and destroyed any plans with being with my girlfriend in the near future now it is sometime in the near future. I had hoped and prayed that I could post pone this event to a later date but my cardiologists advised against it.

11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

In the meantime my dad has passed away so I am busy dealing with family and the family drama and helping with making the arrangements and waiting for another cardiologist appointment in the somewhat near future that will do the procedure sometime in the near future…sigh.

This morning I realized that this might be a lesson in patience which I prayed for decades ago and the lesson continue to this day so be careful what you pray for.

12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12:12

Or it could be a combination of both.

Remember:

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21

P.S. – Note to self “Keep Calm and Trust God”
