2 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2
Last week I blogged about how I needed to put more trust in our Heavenly Father God Almighty. This week I had to revisit the lesson of patience.
Since my dad’s passing I have been eager to move to my girlfriends place in Texas. Unfortunately I have a heart condition that needs to be addressed before I can make that move. Yesterday was the first of a series of appointments and testing. I will have 2 more appointments and one test in the next three weeks which leaves me a little impatient since I had expected to leave to go to Texas last week.
Yesterday after my cardiologist appointment I felt a little sad that I would not be leaving anytime soon it was then that I realized that four decades ago I prayed to God for patience and this was a continuation of that lesson. I breathed a heavy sigh and succumbed to our Heavenly Father God Almighty’s wisdom and plan for me.
11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
It has become obvious to me at this point in my life that I am to grow just a little in my Christian faith. Now I have to put more of my confidence and my trust in our Heavenly Father God Almighty and wait patiently for His plans for me to unfold.
Remember:
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
