If you search for online ministries the results are organizations that provide programs to become an ordained minister. In this week’s blog we will address online ministry but as our Heavenly Father God Almighty wants us to do and not the become-a-minister-through-online-education version.
Recently one of the CGC members wrote an article about online ministry which prompted this blog. It is an impressive and well thought of and well written article…round of applause for Mrs. Summers aided by her husband Mr. Summers. In retrospect my writing may be a little too colorful at times. Online Ministries: Why We Need Them More Than Ever
Since the pandemic many churches have taken to streaming their services online for their congregation. This is wonderful avenue for people that cannot leave their homes for medical reasons or do not have a car and not just for pandemic reasons.
Every week I post a blog about the Word of God and what I have learned from it. It is not right or wrong it is just what I have learned from it. Sometimes I will elaborate on the most common perspective and interpretation but for the most part the bible is simple to understand although some people claim that the bible contains many metaphors. There are many parables that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior used to convey messages but they are usually easy to understand and comprehend. I am not a parable guy I am the guy that points to scripture in the bible and says “See what it says here? This is truth.” Next week I will address the topic about the bible verses non believers.
I have looked at a few of the Christian Gaming Communities websites and they are attractive gaming websites. You do have to enter their forums to see the forum posts about the Word of God and the gospel which is okay if you are accustomed to that kind of clicking. Our old CGC website was a designed so the weekly posts could be seen easily on our splash page, or front page, so it was easy to see that the community of Christian gamers spread the Word of God and the gospel. Unfortunately this new company and website design does not give us the flexibility that we had before but we are grateful for the website.
I believe that online ministry is something all Christian gaming communities should do but that is just my opinion. It is good that Christian gamers have a place to gather away from the secular groups and less respectful people and to be part of Christian community that is uplifting and encouraging to our fellow Christian brothers and sisters. It is comforting to be in a Christian community where other Christian believers come together and pray with and for you but most importantly the Christian Gaming Communities should do those things that are instructed by the bible.
“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.’” Mark 16:15

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20
I believe that if a Christian gaming community puts itself on the internet than they should use the internet as a vehicle to spread the Word of God and the gospel it should not be just the churches that stream every Sunday for the sake of their congregation but all the Christian organizations gaming and otherwise. Online ministry should become a voice for the Christian faith and all Christian churches and Christian gaming communities should lead the way. We should be the voice to carry the Word of God and the gospel to all the people of the world so they can be saved by Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
