Consider This…

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2

When Christians talk about the “gospel” they are talking about the “good news” that Jesus Christ died for the sins of the people of the world that we might become the children of God if we accept and believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and died for our sins.

Every Tuesday I write a blog about the Christian faith about Christians and those that are not Christians. I write about how we as Christians most follow the commandments, decrees, and regulations given to us in the bible. Today I write about a very small fraction of those commandments, decrees and regulations that God ask the Christian body to do. Below is 7 scriptures as to why we Christians speak of the “good news”. Below are those reasons in what I like to call a “scripture bomb” meaning more than one scripture to make a point.

10 And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations. Mark 13:10

Christians must tell all the people all over the world the “Good News” that Jesus Christ can save lives.

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19

To tell the people of the world that Jesus Christ can save people and let them be baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

If you believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and died for our sins then by our Heavenly Father God Almighty grace we will be saved because of our faith. Not by anything we have done but by the faith that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and died for our sins.

15 And he said to them, “Go into the entire world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Mark 16:15

God created the world and everything on and in it. Christians are then to tell all the people all over the world that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and saves people.

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

Let the people of the world know that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and died for our sins and if we believe that and have faith in that then we will be saved and need to be baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. As Christians we are expected to follow all of the commandments, decrees, and regulations given to us and that Jesus Christ will always be with us until the last days.

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! Psalm 96:3

We Christians are to tell everyone in the world of the things that God has created and given to us especially of love and forgiveness not to mention all the miracles God has done including creating the heavens and the earth. Also God loves all people including his enemies and wants nothing more than for His creation, the human race, to believe and have faith.

Remember:

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21
