Consider This…

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2

Sometimes when I write these blogs I learn something or the turn my Christian journey has taken me. I have often written that it is good to be a Christian but it is not always easy. Our path may be straight smooth for a while and then BAM! It’s not just a problem but a problem that overwhelms us.

33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

The above verse tells us that no matter what happens in our life regardless of the trials we go through we can find hope and peace in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Remember in last week’s blog I pointed out that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is always with us. This is why we can overcome the difficult times in our life.

So being a Christian is a good but not always easy sometimes we grow in our Christian faith because of our tribulations. The non believer would ask “Why?” My answer is simple because the world hands out tribulations to the Christians or at least that’s my opinion.

12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12:12

In our present day world many people think they know what to do better than anyone else they are proud and arrogant people not loving good ungrateful and unholy. As Christians we will always have hope our hope stems from our relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and He will always be with us. Christians must face the tribulation because often tribulation is something from the world but with faith and perseverance whatever difficulties we face will be patient because Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is always with us and then we should pray and then pray some more.

Simply put it is not the tribulation but how we respond to the tribulation that makes the Christian be a better Christian. There is much goodness and love in the Christian faith it is not easy but well worth it.

Remember:

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV

God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21
