2 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2
I was a little side tracked in last week’s blog as I blogged about the fact that this is God’s world but evil is here too and we would do well to follow God and not the evil one or satan. We all have faced temptations and all have sinned so…
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23
Because…
19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. 1 John 5:19
A lot of people are aware the God is goodness and the evil one is the exact opposite at this point almost all people will pick goodness. Who would not want to have good things in their life or for their family. There are however some people that believe God does not exist for one reason or another. Some do not believe because no one can scientifically prove God’s existence some people do not believe because they believe that a person has the innate knowledge of good and evil then commit evil and say it is not when in fact it is.
19 Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, Acts 3:19
In the above scripture it says to repent your sins which simply put is to confess your sins to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior as your Lord and Savior and then through forgiveness He will blot out your sins.
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17
The above scripture is simple when we confess our sins and accept Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior then we will be made clean from all our sins through the forgiveness of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and as a result we will be clean of all our sins and made a new person a person that acts in love, forgiveness, wisdom, and righteousness.
21 Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” 22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times. Matthew 18:21-22
The above scripture tells us that we Christians are to forgive all the people around us. Something that can be difficult to do since our anger gets in the way of our forgiveness of others.
14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15
Here is my message. We Christians must confess our sins to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and in that confession Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior will forgiveness us. We should also forgive those that have sinned against us as our Heavenly Father God Almighty will also forgive us our sins. If we do not forgive others then our Heavenly Father God Almighty will not forgive us our sins.
5 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. Ephesians 5:1
We should be like Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior in love patience wisdom compassion and faith. We should be imitating and spreading His teachings to the world.
Remember:
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21
