A few weeks ago I wrote that I would address the issue that some people believe that the Christian faith and our Heavenly Father God Almighty is a hoax. Most of the Atheists and Agnostics believe that the bible is a hoax and this is usually a point in their argument about the Christian faith. Therefore, I decided to do some research and found a few things of interest. Let me show you why this is their weak sauce.
One point of argument for Atheists and/or Agnostics is that the bible is an elaborate hoax designed to fool the people of the world. Atheists and/or Agnostics please pay close attention. Scholars, those are people that study and research things that are of interest to them to the point that these scholars are considered experts in their field, have determined that the Book of Genesis and the Book of Job were the first books written of the bible and that these books were written around 1400 BC to about 1450 BC. BC stands for before Christ was born and if you have never read the Old Testament you should…it is amazing. These same Scholars, again Atheists these are educated people, estimate that the last book written in the bible is the Book of Revelation which was written around 90 AD. Here A.D. is an abbreviation for the Latin phrase “Anno Domini” meaning “in the year of our Lord” which is typically referred to after the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. So according to science and scholars that would mean that it took approximately 1500 years for the bible to be written I wonder how people put together such an elaborate hoax in a 1500 years span and why. Imagine a hoax contained in a book that has been well read by millions of people for over 2000 years a book that millions of people say contains truths. It has been my observation that most people when given a project with very little to no payback just give up and say, “Forget it I am done with this” and walk away. Or maybe the bible is read by people that have faith and can see truth. Below is a prayer to start your life as a Christian.
Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself only. I am sorry and repent all my sins. I ask that you forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me to save me. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life; I give you my life to you. From this day forward help me to live every day for you and in a way that pleases you. I love you Lord and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you. Amen

P.S. – Just an FYI some archeologists’ use the bible as a reference point in their studies of certain period civilizations and credit the bible for the truth contained in it.
