Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2Thessalonians 2
We are to grow in our faith and in our journey as Christians to that end we should pray…a lot.
17 pray without ceasing, 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Prayer is a means to draw closer to our Heavenly Father God Almighty. One of those prayers can be found in the bible.
9 Pray then like this:
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread,
12 and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil,
Matthew 6:9-13
The above prayer is commonly called the Lord’s Prayer the very same prayer that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior taught to the disciples. No matter how busy your life may be or the things that are happening around you God always know what is in your heart. I was curious and said this prayer with watch in hand and found out that it takes 25 seconds or less to say the Lord’s Prayer. So stop and take a deep breath and pray the Lord’s Prayer and our Heavenly Father God Almighty will hear your prayer and see what is in your heart.
Below is a prayer to help you start on your path as a Christian.
Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself only. I am sorry and repent all my sins. I ask that you forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me to save me. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life; I give you my life to you. From this day forward help me to live every day for you and in a way that pleases you. I love you Lord and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you. Amen
Remember:
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
God bless all those that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy and wisdom in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21
