Eleven reasons why you should become a Christian
1. All your sins are instantly forgiven.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
2. You get help to stop consciously sinning altogether!
15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:15-16
3. The Holy Spirit starts to teach you and free you from yourself.
13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. John 16:13
4. You have peace and joy that nothing can take away.
28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
5. Jesus is your mighty Helper and Friend!
18 For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. Hebrews 2:18
6. Your earthly and material needs will be taken care of.
31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 7. Your life will become stable.
14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Ephesians 4:14
8. You will always have something to do.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
9. You will have meaningful relationships.
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7
10. You will be a light in this world.
33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
11. You will rule in the world to come.

Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself only. I am sorry and repent all my sins. I ask that you forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me to save me. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life; I give you my life to you. From this day forward help me to live every day for you and in a way that pleases you. I love you Lord and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you. Amen
