We are back!!! Our last website Christian Gaming Community . com died unfortunately along with our co-founder Bishop aka Rooster. We will miss you Rooster enjoy your rewards in God’s kingdom!!!However we are fortunate enough to have some members that helped the community establish a new website. Thank you David and Melissa!!!
The community website arrived Jan. 1st 2023 what a wonderful gift to the community. Then it hit me I have to write blogs again.
First let me say “Happy New Year to you and yours” from everyone from the Christian Gaming Community.
I will also add that “God bless you and your family throughout the year”.
I pondered the above statements for a few minutes and realized today’s topic.
Becoming a Christian takes very little effort but it does take faith and belief. It’s not a club or a cult as some people would have you believe but something that comes from the heart and the spirit. Evil would tell you that that the Christian faith is bad or a club and or a cult when in all actuality it is love and goodness.
To become a Christian all one has to do is to repent your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Some people feel that if you verbally confess your sin out loud and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior in the same manner you have started your journey as a Christian. Honestly there are some parts of the bible that do say that.
The interesting part of becoming a Christian is in the scripture below.
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17
I believe that in this scripture it is where the phrase “born again” comes from. When a person becomes a Christian they repent their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior their past life is no more and they start a new life as a Christian in the Christian journey so with this in mind Happy New Year, Happy New life, Happy to be Christian a child of God.
