Consider This…

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2 (NIV)

I recently moved to Texas to be with my internet girlfriend which is now my real life girlfriend. Initially I did not know what to expect when I moved here but I was pleasantly surprised after the first week here. As time passed I had become happier knowing that the comfort I get in living in the bible belt and living with other fellow Christians. So I decided to re-post this earlier blog.

I read the below scripture from the book of Corinthians which inspired me to write this blog

Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For he says,

“In a favorable time I listened to you,
and in a day of salvation I have helped you.”

Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.  2 Corinthians 6:1-2

In the above scripture, Paul writes a letter that I sense has some urgency. Simply put…be saved today and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

A few months ago we celebrated Easter Sunday. The day that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior rose from the grave and ascended into heaven sat at God’s right hand and given full authority over all things.

8but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Salvation is one of the main points in my blogs as well as sharing different things about the bible and my personal growth as a Christian. It should be evident to all people that God wants you saved and know His son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

There is a lot of goodness in being a Christian a lot of compassion a lot of love.

34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. John 13:34

Here is some questions I have for everyone. If we, as people, learned to love one and another would there still be killings and violence? Would we still have wars? Would we help other people in their struggle with famine and disease? If we are Christian and we love all people could this be a better world than it is now?’ Could our love for our fellow human really make this a better world? Is it not better to be a Christian than not be a Christian?

For me it is far better to be a Christian and follow Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and His teachings than to follow the evil one and not be a Christian.

Yes today is the day of your salvation!!

Remember:

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV

God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
